Shamet closed Monday's 130-93 victory over Cleveland in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals with 16 points (5-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and one steal across 19 minutes.
Analysis
Shamet continues to be a viable three-point threat, having landed at least three triples in four of his past five games. Although he offers very little outside his perimeter scoring, Shamet's efficiency has meant opposing defenses have had to make an extra effort when guarding him. Monday's win means New York will now have a week off before facing either San Antonio or Oklahoma City in the NBA Finals.

Shamet ended Thursday's 109-93 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals with zero points (0-1 FG), four rebounds and one steal across 15 minutes.
Analysis
Shamet failed to score for the fifth time in the playoffs, continuing what has been a largely underwhelming postseason. In fact, in his past 10 games, Shamet has averaged just 4.7 points and 1.2 three-pointers in 11.6 minutes per contest. While his points production has been modest, to say the least, his ability to spread the floor remains a positive, even when his shot isn't falling.
