Analysis
George briefly left Saturday's contest after appearing to tweak his left ankle. He's back on the bench after being evaluated by medical staff in the locker room and appears to be available to return.

George (ankle) went to the locker room during the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against the Hornets, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Analysis
George appeared to tweak his left ankle after stepping on a Hornets player's foot. He's gone to the locker room to be evaluated by medical staff, so Malaki Branham and Justin Champagnie should see an uptick in playing time for as long as George is out of the game.

George posted 20 points (6-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 34 minutes during the Wizards' 107-97 loss to the Nuggets on Thursday.
Analysis
It wasn't an efficient night from the field for George, but he still finished Thursday's game as the Wizards' leader in points, rebounds and assists while recording his third double-double of the season (and first since Nov. 22 against the Bulls). George has averaged 21.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.4 steals over 31.2 minutes per game over his last five outings.

George amassed 18 points (6-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, six assists and three steals over 34 minutes during Monday's 110-106 loss to the Clippers.
Analysis
While George didn't deliver his most efficient performance, he turned in a solid all-around outing. The second-year forward finished second on the Wizards in both points and assists while grabbing a team-high-tying six boards. He also led Washington in steals, tallying multiple swipes for the first time since Dec. 18.

Fires up team-high 29 in loss
George accumulated 29 points (10-20 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 121-115 loss to Denver.
Analysis
The second-year guard led the Wizards in scoring on the night while putting together his best offensive performance since Nov. 16. George has scored 15-plus points in four of five games since returning from a hip injury, averaging 17.4 points, 5.0 boards, 4.0 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.0 blocks over that stretch.
