Analysis
The double-double was his league-leading 39th of the season, and his ninth in the last 10 contests after he'd seen an eight-game streak ended in his first game after the All-Star break Saturday. Through nine February appearances, Towns is averaging 20.2 points, 11.6 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.2 steals while shooting 53.6 percent from the floor.

Towns contributed 25 points (10-15 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 34 minutes during Saturday's 108-106 victory over Houston.
Analysis
Towns enjoyed an efficient night during the victory. His rebound totals were a bit below the norm, but he converted 66.6 percent of his shots and nailed all three of his three-point attempts. Towns appears to be right back on track following the All-Star break with an average of 23.0 points over the past two games.

Towns registered 21 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during the Knicks' 126-111 loss to the Pistons on Thursday.
Analysis
It took a while for Towns to get going during Thursday's contest, as the star center scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half and finished as the Knicks' second-leading scorer behind Jalen Brunson (33 points). Towns leads the NBA with 38 double-doubles, eight of which have come in as many games. He has averaged 18.4 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals over 29.6 minutes per game since Feb. 1. However, Towns is connecting on 25.0 percent of his three-point attempts on just 3.4 3PA/G over that span, which is an area he'll look to improve on as the Knicks make a final push before the start of the postseason.
