Santos notched 20 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Sunday's 110-107 loss to the Knicks.
Analysis
Santos came close to matching his season-best scoring mark of 22 points, established March 7 in a loss to the Thunder, and the Brazilian forward continues to leave his mark in an expanded role for the shorthanded Warriors. He has scored in double digits in all but one of his 12 games since the All-Star break, averaging 15.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game. Santos is certainly making the most of his opportunity, but he could return to a bench role when the Warriors get healthier.

New career high in assists
Santos totaled 17 points (6-15 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Friday's 127-117 loss to the Timberwolves.
Analysis
Making his fifth straight start in a shorthanded Golden State frontcourt, Santos set a new career high in assists while scoring at least 15 points for a fifth straight game. The third-year forward is taking full advantage of his opportunity -- during those five contests he's averaging 17.0 points, 6.6 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.8 threes and 1.2 steals while playing a whopping 36.8 minutes. Al Horford (calf) and Quinten Post (ankle) both got banged up Friday, further depleting the Warriors' depth, so Santos' role doesn't seem likely to shrink any time soon.

Another solid scoring performance
Santos registered 17 points (7-19 FG, 3-9 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 130-124 overtime loss to the Bulls.
Analysis
Santos didn't have his best shooting performance, as he needed 19 shots to score 17 points, but fantasy managers will gladly overlook the inefficiency considering how good he's been of late. Santos has scored in double digits in all but one of his last 10 contests, a stretch in which he's averaging 15.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals across 33.2 minutes per contest.
