Records five steals
Black registered 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound, three assists, one block and five steals over 42 minutes during Monday's 125-119 double-overtime loss to the Heat.
Analysis
Black recorded a career-high five steals in an impressive all-around performance for the second-year guard. It's worth noting, however, that Jalen Suggs (back) could be cleared to return any day now, and that could limit Black's upside going forward. In 11 January outings, Black produced averages of 11.7 points, 3.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.6 three-pointers in 28.2 minutes.

Analysis
With Jalen Suggs sidelined due to a left quad contusion, Black will step back into the starting lineup. The 21-year-old has started in five outings this season, during which he has averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 28.4 minutes per contest.

Analysis
The Magic will feature Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs (back) together for the first time since Oct. 30, and for just the sixth time this season, as Suggs will be back in the backcourt. Black should see decent minutes off the bench, though. He's averaging 25.7 minutes per game in seven outings off the bench in January.

Black chipped in 17 points (6-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 109-93 loss to the Raptors.
Analysis
Black was impressive in his fill-in start for Orlando with Cole Anthony sidelined by an illness. The second-year guard now has four starts to his name this season with averages of 10.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 three-pointers.
