Productive in Saturday's win
Chourio went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Reds.
Analysis
Chourio was held out of the second game of Friday's doubleheader after tweaking his ankle in the matinee, but it doesn't look like a long-term concern. He flashed all of his skills Saturday, continuing an impressive stretch in which he's gone 16-for-43 (.372) with eight extra-base hits, 10 RBI and three steals over his last 10 games. The outfielder is up to 17 homers, 20 thefts, 22 doubles, two triples, 63 RBI, 66 runs scored and a .277/.325/.457 slash line through 122 contests this season.

In Saturday's lineup
Chourio (ankle) will start in left field and bat second Saturday against the Reds.
Analysis
Chourio tweaked his right ankle during the first game of Friday's doubleheader and then sat out of the nightcap, but the 20-year-old rookie appears to be feeling fine after a night of rest. He's tallied a base hit in eight of his last nine games while slashing .333/.381/.564 with a homer, nine RBI and two steals in that span.

Sitting out after tweaking ankle
Chourio is not in the lineup for the second game of Friday's doubleheader in Cincinnati after rolling his right ankle in the first game, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Analysis
Chourio created quite a scare when he injured the ankle as he attempted to beat out an infield single in the fifth inning. He had to be helped off the field, but the rookie outfielder stayed in and finished the contest. Chourio will receive treatment and have some tests just to be safe, but it sounds like he should be fine. Sal Frelick, Blake Perkins and Garrett Mitchell will form the Brewers' outfield trio in the nightcap as they try to sweep the doubleheader.

Productive in Tuesday's loss
Chourio went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Giants.
Analysis
Chourio reached on an error and stole second in the first inning for his third theft over the last eight games. He then ended a nine-game homer drought with a third-inning long ball. The rookie outfielder has cooled off a bit in the latter half of the month, hitting just .250 (10-for-40) over his last 10 games after going 19-for-55 (.345) over the first 13 contests in August. He's now at a .272/.318/.444 slash line with 16 homers, 19 steals, 59 RBI and 62 runs scored through 118 games this season.
