The double-double was the 26th of the season for Barnes, tying his career high, and it was his first involving assists and not rebounds since Jan. 20. The fifth-year forward has scored 20-plus points only twice in 11 March contests, averaging 16.2 points, 5.8 boards, 4.9 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 threes on the month while shooting 52.6 percent from the floor.

The 17 points led the Raptors in a sluggish road performance. Barnes has scored at least 14 points in nine of 10 March contests despite a reduction in his shot volume, averaging 15.8 points, 5.7 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 threes on the month while shooting 50.4 percent from the floor.

Barnes notched 18 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 139-109 victory over Chicago.
Analiz
This was Barnes' best scoring output since his 24-point effort in the loss to the Rockets on March 10, but his scoring numbers have experienced a bit of regression. That's not a knock on his play, but simply the result of the Raptors being able to ride the hot hands of Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett. Barnes is still averaging 15.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game since the beginning of March. His scoring numbers are a bit down, but he'll remain a strong fantasy alternative as long as he continues to fill the stat sheet on a steady basis.
