What is Essence and what can I do with it?

Essence is an in-game material that you can use to craft Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique cards in Sorare Football. You can obtain it by participating and getting a good ranking in the different competitions.

Essence in Sorare comes in different scarcities: Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique. When you craft a card using a specific scarcity of Essence, the resulting card will match the same scarcity level.

For example, if you use Limited Essence to craft a card, you will receive a Limited card.

A note on Unique Essence: Unique Essence has been removed from prize pools and from crafting. If you already hold Unique Essence, it will convert to Super Rare Essence — see What happens to my Essence when a new season starts? for how balance conversions between seasons work.
