On Sorare 26, card crafting is about to reach the next level. In case you missed it, here’s a quick recap of what’s new:

• Use Essence to unlock a draw of 10 hidden cards. There’s a 25%* chance you’ll land a Special Draw with boosted odds for top-tier players.

* Special Draw odds are part of our season launch celebration and will decrease a few weeks in. We are exploring ways to evolve the Special Draw experience with new Special Draw categories and the  introduction of new temporary boosts with increased chances of hitting a Special Draw.


The brand-new Crafting Machine opens the morning of Friday, July 25.

As a reminder, crafting will roll out progressively as leagues kick off their seasons.
You’ll be able to craft cards from a league as soon as its first Game Week locks (after 4 PM CET). That means before 4 PM this Friday, you’ll only be able to craft cards from MLS, K League, J.League, Argentina and Norway clubs.

🕵️ More Crafting Clues

Surprise! To celebrate the Crafting Machine’s opening, a third Crafting Clue will be live at launch: the “Five Best”, alongside the League reveal and the Nationality reveal.

The Five Best is a powerful Crafting Clue: it lets you keep the top 5 quality* cards from your draw and discard the other 5, giving you a better shot at crafting a top card.

At launch, the temporary promotional Essence requirement to unlock a Five Best will be:

• 1000 Essence during a Standard Draw
• 2000 Essence during a Special Draw

Crafting Clues may rotate over time, and new ones could be added as the season progresses.

As a reminder, current Essence requirements for Crafting Clues are temporarily discounted to celebrate Sorare 26 launch and may change in the future. We’ll share any updates after the season starts with enough notice.

Please note that the Nationality reveal Crafting Clue is not available for Unique Crafts.

♻️ Essence Return

Not satisfied with your pick? Once revealed, you can choose to return the crafted card and receive a portion of your Essence back.

You’ll get back 10% of the total Essence used during the crafting process. This includes any Clues you unlocked at that moment (not Clues you already owned).

🔁 Example: If you use 1,000 Essence to draw and 1,500 on new Clues (total 2,500 Essence), you’ll receive 250 Essence back.

🔍 Essence Flavor – How it Works on Sorare 26

As a reminder, the competitions from which you have won the Essence determine your Essence flavor. Your Essence flavor percentages determine the pool of players you can win when crafting. Here is everything you need to know:

• Flavors have adapted to the new structure: Existing Challenger Essence now allows crafting SPFL, Danish, Portuguese, Turkish, and Austrian cards.
  
• A new “All-Star” Essence flavor is coming to Sorare 26. This new flavor will notably replace Neutral Essence in permanent Classic competitions like All-Star and U23. Once introduced, your existing Neutral Essence will automatically convert into All-Star flavored Essence. To ensure this change doesn’t disrupt your strategy or crafting plans, we’re introducing a transition period:
  
  • Until Monday, August 25 3 PM CET:
     • Your current Neutral Essence will remain unchanged.
     • All-Star and U23 competitions will continue to reward Neutral Essence.
        • As a reminder, Neutral Essence doesn’t influence your crafting odds. If you have 90% Neutral and 10% Premier League Essence (with Premier League cards available in the crafting pool), your draw will be 100% Premier League.
    
  • On Monday, August 25:
     • Existing Neutral Essence in your balance will convert into All-Star Essence. You may still hold some Neutral Essence beyond this date, mainly from Arena rewards.
    
  • Tuesday, August 26:
     • All-Star and U23 Classic competitions will begin rewarding All-Star Essence

Note: All-Star Essence may be distributed as part of marketplace promotions before August 25.

With all Sorare 26 leagues joining the Crafting reward pool by Friday, August 22, we’ve carefully timed this transition to avoid disrupting your Crafting plans.

And don’t forget: with Crafting Clues, you can now reveal the leagues of the cards in your draw, helping you target exactly the league you need.

• Arena Exception: Arena will still reward Neutral Flavor Essence (even after August 25th). Looking ahead, we’re exploring a system where your Arena Essence rewards match the flavor of the Essence you used to enter the lineup. We’ll keep you updated as this evolves.
  
• The Essence returned when giving back a crafter card is also Neutral Essence.
  
• As a reminder, when you use Essence to enter an Arena or craft a card, the oldest Essence in your inventory is used first.
