Gobert was an efficient offensive contributor in Monday's win, securing his fifth double-double of the season. The veteran center excelled in both ends of the Timberwolves' back-to-back set, averaging 16.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks while shooting 88.9 percent from the field in the pair of games. Analyse
The double-double was Gobert's fourth of the season, while the five blocks were a season high. The veteran center has had a somewhat inconsistent start to the campaign, but he may be finding a groove, recording multiple rejections in six of the last eight games while averaging 11.8 points, 10.8 boards, 2.1 blocks and 1.6 assists, and shooting 77.4 percent from the floor.

Gobert racked up seven points (3-3 FG, 1-2 FT) and nine rebounds across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 137-114 loss to the Knicks.
Analyse
Wednesday was not a great night defensively for Gobert, as it marked his first game since Apr. 10 of last season where he failed to record a steal or a block. Gobert averages 9.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.4 steals on the year, so hopefully he can turn in a better defensive performance Friday against the Jazz, who will be without their starting center Walker Kessler (shoulder) for the rest of the season.
