Spurs rally in third quarter
Hardaway closed with 16 points (5-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Sunday's 116-93 victory over the Warriors.
Analysis
Denver stormed back from a significant deficit in the second half, and Hardaway contributed 10 of his 16 points in the third quarter as the Nuggets erased the Warriors' lead. Hardway's numbers were also aided by premature exits from Cameron Johnson (back) and Spencer Jones (hamstring), who were both injured and failed to return.

Drains five threes
Hardaway totaled 21 points (5-12 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and one steal in 28 minutes during Friday's 135-129 victory over the Jazz.
Analysis
Hardaway is one of the best long-range shooters in the NBA right now, and he showed that with an impressive performance in what turned out to be a tighter-than-expected win. Perhaps more importantly, Hardaway bounced back from the four-point dud he posted in the win over Dallas on Wednesday. The lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis limits Hardaway's potential from a fantasy perspective, but he's a player who can get hot at any moment. He has scored at least 20 points in four of his last eight games, but he's also produced single-digit outputs three times over that stretch. Still, as a player who's making a career-high 40.9 percent of his threes this season, Hardaway should be a player to roster even with his ups and downs.

Fails to fire in victory
Hardaway ended Wednesday's 142-135 victory over the Mavericks with four points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and two assists across 27 minutes.
Analysis
Hardaway went cold from the floor, continuing a pattern of recent inconsistent performances. Although his role has remained relatively predictable, his shooting has been spotty, making him a tough player to hold in standard leagues. In eight appearances over the past two weeks, he has been outside the top-250 players, averaging 11.5 points and 2.6 three-pointers in 24.1 minutes per contest.

Pours in 18 points during win
Hardaway registered 18 points (6-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes during Tuesday's 125-123 victory over Phoenix.
Analysis
Hardaway delivered another sharp bench performance thanks to continued success beyond the arc. After connecting on seven triples two games ago, Hardaway cooled down against Toronto but came soaring back with more shot volume Tuesday night. The veteran is on track for a career-high three-point conversion rate of 40.8 percent.
