Confident he'll start Wednesday
Woo (shoulder) said Monday that he's "100 percent confident" he will make his scheduled start Wednesday against the Phillies at T-Mobile Park, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Analisi
Woo last pitched Aug. 16 against the Astros, with a sore right shoulder causing him to miss his most recent turn through the rotation this past weekend. He felt optimistic about his shoulder after throwing a bullpen session Sunday, and barring any setbacks, the right-hander looks set to re-enter the rotation for Wednesday's series finale. Over 24 starts this season, Woo has gone 9-8 with a 4.10 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 137:29 K:BB across 138.1 innings.

Optimistic after bullpen session
Woo (shoulder) completed a successful bullpen session Sunday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Analisi
Woo last pitched Aug. 16 against the Astros, exiting the contest after having tossed six innings of two-run ball while throwing 75 total pitches. The right-hander was lifted due to right shoulder soreness, and his next turn in the rotation was skipped. Woo left Sunday's bullpen session feeling optimistic about the shoulder, and he outlined that he doesn't think that his season is in jeopardy, but he still wants to be cautious. Woo is currently occupying a spot on the 26-man roster, and if he can't pitch in the near future, he will need to be placed on the injured list. The Mariners are expected to make a decision about the 26-year-old's future before the team's series opener against the Phillies on Monday.

Will throw bullpen Sunday
Woo (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Sunday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Analisi
Woo was removed from his most recent start after 75 pitches due to shoulder soreness. The right-hander's subsequent turn in the rotation was skipped, but he was able to throw a bullpen Thursday and is slated for another Sunday. How he comes out of Sunday's session will determine how/when the Mariners put him back into their rotation, per Kramer.

Won't start against Cubs
Manager Dan Wilson said Friday that Woo (shoulder) will not start during Seattle's weekend series against the Cubs, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Analisi
Woo was removed from his most recent start Sunday against Houston after feeling soreness in his right shoulder, and although he was able to throw his normal between-starts bullpen session Thursday, the M's are still going to give the 26-year-old some extra time to recover. Wilson noted that he's optimistic Woo won't have to spend time on the injured list, though it's unknown when his next start will be. Kade Anderson will come up from Double-A to make his MLB debut Saturday, and Bryce Miller will move up in the rotation to start Sunday's series finale.

Throws bullpen session Thursday
Woo (shoulder) threw his normal between-starts bullpen session Thursday, Zach Sweet of MLB.com reports.
Analisi
Woo had to leave his last outing versus the Astros on Sunday after 75 pitches because of right shoulder soreness. However, Woo and the Mariners downplayed the issue at the time, and he appears in line to make his next scheduled start Saturday against the Cubs, provided he bounces back from Thursday's mound work with no hiccups.
