To protect our interests and partnerships with clubs, we are unable to comment in more detail on the status of our partnerships with the above clubs. We will also welcome a small number of clubs in the coming months. We will give you as much notice as possible so that you can prepare for the arrival of these new clubs.

Get Ready for an Exciting Season of Special Events

This Sorare 2024-25 season, our calendar is jam-packed with Special Events that promise fun for everyone. These events will reward your scouting skills and deep, niche football knowledge.

Of the $15M* prize pool, around 10% can be won through Special Event cash prizes in the 2024-25 season. This is in addition to card rewards, VIP tickets, jerseys, and amazing once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Since Special Weeklies are now more frequent than just ‘Weekly,’ we will refer to these competitions as ‘Specials’ or ‘Special Events.’

In our first Special Events calendar of the season, we share 11 exciting Special Events, including the return of Capped modes and All Star.

All Special Events in August are multi-entry, you can submit up to three lineups for each Special Event.

Here is a full breakdown of the calendar and Special Event rules:

League-Specific Requirements

For the SPFL and Pro League, the Special Events have specific requirements based on the card rarity. These requirements specify a combination of In-Season and Classic cards that must be used in a 5-player lineup. Here are the details:

Limited 🟨	Minimum 3x In-Season cards
Rare 🟥	Minimum 3x In-Season cards
Super Rare 🟦	Minimum 2x In-Season cards
Unique ⬛	Minimum 2x In-Season cards

August: General Special Event Rules

For all other Special Events that are not specific to the SPFL or Pro League, there are no requirements regarding the use of In-Season or Classic cards. You can freely choose any combination of cards for these events without restrictions related to the season status of the cards.

Scoring Matrix Reloaded

At the end of August, get ready for the first in our series of Special Scoring Matrix Events! This series will reward your scouting skills and challenge your football knowledge as you adapt to a new scoring system. We begin the series with Top Tackler.

Anti-Stack Special
For the Anti-Stack special rules, the current clubs for the five players in your lineup all have to be different.

Looking Ahead to September

In our next Special Events calendar, we celebrate the biggest competitions in European football, launch new league-specific events, and put future Special Events to a community vote.

European Competition: Qualifying phase & play-offs: Coverage Reminder

We would like to remind our community that our data provider cannot always guarantee coverage for all matches of the qualifying phase of the UCL, Europa League, and Conference League. Coverage can be downgraded even after the game week (GW) has started.

• The level of coverage can change (positively or negatively) up until the last minute before the GW deadline.
• Sorare cannot influence these changes. Please be cautious and prepare for potential fluctuations in coverage levels.

Although the above experience is not the best, we did not want to remove coverage of these games and reduce card utility.

Prize Pool Updates

Keep an eye out on the prize pools, players will be added to the regional leaderboard pools once their club’s domestic league starts. 

Today made small rebalancing adjustments (mainly a slight increase of rewarded Managers) to the Prize Pools shared and updated last Friday 12th.

The changes made are to Limited In-Season: 

• Small rebalance of rewards across Division 4 and 5 for Contender & Challenger 
• Our league-specific competitions (Premier League, Bundesliga, LALIGA) will reward 320 Managers instead of 300
• Challenger and Contender will reward 780 Managers instead of 760-70
