Early Access Cards: Last chance for Special Editions

This week marks a historic week for Sorare. From Thursday, you will be able to open your Early Access packs and discover this season’s incredible 2024-25 card designs.

Get ready for the brand new extra special opening experience for all Early Access cards. It’ll bring your cards to life like never before. And that’s not everything, for the special few there will be something even more exciting! If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one the scarce Animated cards will have their own extra special opening experience.

In case you missed it, 10% of Early Access card packs hold a special edition card design – where the background is animated. Special edition cards receive a 20 points collector point bonus (for more info on our collector game see here).

Special Event with $25k cash prize: Animated
But there’s more, on September 27th you can take part in an Early Access Special Edition event with $25k in total cash prizes across 4 competitions, 1 competition for each scarcity.

Your lineups must include a minimum of 1 Early Access Special Edition card and the remaining 4 cards can be Classic or In-Season cards. For more info, visit our Special Events September calendar.

The Elusive Holo Cards
We also have one more surprise on Thursday. Introducing: The Holo. The most elusive card design with only a few available. We have selected just 22 players, two lineups of eleven, to each receive the super unique Holo treatment (which will also receive the 20 points collection bonus).

22 Holo cards only!

Just like the most prized and scarce cards in the card collecting world, the holo is one of the most exclusive card types of Sorare. Only 22 Limited player cards playing in European competition will receive the 2024-25 Holo design. Upon reveal, we will contact each Manager that has opened a Holo card to offer 4x game tickets and 1x signed jersey.

The Holo cards are like nothing else and we have made sure that the players that we selected are worthy of the Holo.

Here are the 22 players that will each receive this very special design. We have split the lineups into two groups.

The Cult Heroes
The first 11 players selected hold a precious place in Sorare folklore. They are cult heroes who have long been celebrated and cheered on by the Sorare community. Many of these footballers were discovered on Sorare first, and were once more popular on Sorare than anywhere else. In other cases, the footballers play Sorare and are big fans or friends of the platform.

The Sorare Superstars
Our second lineup is made up of modern-day superstars who share that magical combo of real-world popularity and high scoring performances with our scoring matrix.

*The 4x game tickets and signed jersey are only offered to the Manager that opened the Early Access pack holding the Holo design.
