Now, let’s hear from the winner himself—Paco shares his journey, thoughts on Sorare, and what this incredible achievement means to him.

How did you first discover Sorare, and when did you start playing?

For the past five years, football fantasy has been a serious passion (just ask my university friends!). About two years ago, the fantasy influencers I follow started talking about Sorare. I told myself I’d try it someday, and this year, I finally took the plunge. I couldn’t be happier with my  decision –  It brought loads of fun with the game itself and the entire community around it.

What was your secret to winning the Kylian Mbappé FC competition? Did you use a specific strategy?

I chose the league I know best: LALIGA. I analyzed the matchday as usual, pinpointing favorable matchups for specific teams. My picks included two Atlético players, a LALIGA legend like Iago Aspas, a two-way defender like Lejeune, and the rising star, Lamine. This lineup earned me the raffle ticket and the chance to win the competition.

How does it feel to win such an incredible prize—meeting Kylian Mbappé, 10 VIP game tickets, and two signed jerseys?

It still feels surreal. Initially, I thought it might be too good to be true, but after speaking with the Sorare team, it finally started to sink in. The prize is incredible – a chance to meet my team’s superstar and enjoy the VIP experience at the Bernabéu. As a lifelong Real Madrid fan who’s never had this opportunity, it’s truly a dream come true. Those jerseys will definitely be framed and proudly displayed at home.

Which upcoming experiences are you most excited about this season?

I’m always scouting for the next big talents. I take pride in spotting top players before others. I’m especially looking forward to the next MLS season, I have my eye on a few players that will help the Mbappé FC club.

Would you recommend Sorare to your friends?

Definitely, it’s transformed the way I enjoy football for the better! Actually, a friend from uni is getting into Sorare now. I’d been encouraging him to try it for a while, but after seeing all the opportunities the game offers, he’s now fully committed to giving it a shot.
