21 November 2024

Listed probable for Friday

Curry is probable for Friday's game against the Pelicans due to left knee bursitis.

Analysis

The probable tag suggests Curry should end up playing and handling his regular workload for the Warriors, as he's been dealing with knee pain over the last two weeks. However, Golden State will likely exercise caution with the health of its star floor general, especially after losing De'Anthony Melton to a season-ending knee injury earlier this week. Curry is averaging 24.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game since the beginning of November.

21 November 2024

Sniffs double-double

Curry posted 23 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 120-97 victory over the Hawks.

Analysis

Curry filled the stat sheet admirably in this game and delivered one of his most efficient outings of the season, missing just three shots from the field and ending just two assists away from a double-double. Curry is averaging 24.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game since the beginning of November.

21 November 2024

Receives green light

Curry (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Analysis

Curry was listed as probable with left knee inflammation, an issue he's dealt with over the last week or two. He's yet to miss a game due to the injury and has logged 32 or more minutes in three of his last four games. Curry is averaging 23.0 points, 6.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds across 29.1 minutes per game this season.

20 November 2024

Likely to suit up Wednesday

Curry (knee) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Analysis

Curry has been a mainstay on the injury report and is dealing with lingering left knee inflammation. The superstar played through the issue during Monday's loss to the Clippers, during which he posted 26 points (10-21 FG, 6-15 3Pt), seven rebounds, six assists and one block over 32 minutes. If things take a turn for the worse for Curry, Gary Payton and Brandin Podziemski are candidates for an increased role.

19 November 2024

Scores 26, drains six threes Monday

Curry logged 26 points (10-21 FG, 6-15 3Pt), seven rebounds, six assists and one block over 32 minutes during Monday's 102-99 loss to the Clippers.

Analysis

Curry was eyeing a bounce-back performance after posting 13 points in the win over the Grizzlies on Nov. 15. Needless to say, the star guard delivered by notching his fifth game with at least 24 points since the beginning of the month. Curry is averaging 25.0 points per game while shooting 43.5 percent from three since the beginning of November, and he remains an elite offensive weapon for a Warriors team that has surpassed expectations in the opening weeks of the campaign.

19 November 2024

Cleared as expected

Curry (knee) will play Monday night against the Clippers.

Analysis

Curry has been trending in the right direction leading up to tipoff and has now officially been given the green light for Monday's clash. He'll undoubtedly be eyeing a bounce-back performance after being held to 13 points in Friday's 123-118 victory over the Grizzlies.

19 November 2024

Trending toward playing

Head coach Steve Kerr stated in his pregame presser that he believes Curry will play Monday against the Clippers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Analysis

Kerr noted that Curry is a bit banged up, but everything he's heard from the team's medical staff leads him to believe the sharpshooter will suit up. Expect confirmation from the club on Curry's status within the next hour or so.

18 November 2024

Goes through shootaround

Curry (knee) was able to participate in Monday's morning shootaround, ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk reports.

Analysis

Curry remains questionable for Monday's contest against the Clippers, but his availability at shootaround is a great sign. He's had a terrific campaign so far, averaging 22.7 points, 6.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 3.9 three-pointers.

17 November 2024

Iffy for Monday

Curry (knee) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Analysis

Curry previously missed three games due to an ankle injury, but he's now dealing with left knee inflammation. If the superstar is sidelined, Brandin Podziemski and Gary Payton are candidates for an increased role.

16 November 2024

Busy on defense in win

Curry provided 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and four steals in 26 minutes during Friday's 123-118 victory over the Grizzlies.

Analysis

After scoring a combined 73 points over the prior two games, Curry's offense went a little cold Friday, but he made up for it by tying his season high in steals. The Warriors have been keeping an eye on the two-time MVP's workload, and Curry has failed to see more than 26 minutes in three of six games since returning from an ankle injury in early November. Despite the inconsistent court time, he's still averaging 24.8 points, 6.3 assists, 5.0 boards, 4.0 threes and 2.0 steals over that stretch while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor, 92.0 percent from the charity stripe and 44.4 percent from beyond the arc.
