Good to go against Brooklyn

Analysis
An illness prevented Landale from playing in Monday's 124-118 loss to the Knicks, but the fourth-year center has been cleared to play in Tuesday's bout. He played in the Rockets' three games prior to Monday's absence and averaged 4.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 13.3 minutes per contest over that span.

Analysis
Landale has a chance to suit up Tuesday after missing the first half of Houston's back-to-back set Monday. However, Alperen Sengun (calf) is expected to return following a three-game absence, so even if Landale is cleared to suit up, he'll handle a small backup role.

Analysis
Landale has been downgraded from doubtful to out due to an illness Monday, and he'll face a short turnaround if he wants to return for the second leg of Houston's back-to-back Tuesday against the Nets. With Alperen Sengun (calf) out against the Knicks as well, the Rockets are deploying a smaller starting frontcourt of Jae'Sean Tate and Tari Eason. That said, Steven Adams should still play a significant role off the bench against Karl-Anthony Towns.
