Huge night from charity stripe
Murray closed Wednesday's 116-110 victory over the Kings with 24 points (4-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 14-15 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and one block in 38 minutes.
Analysis
Murray totaled 14 points from the free-throw line, representing a large chunk of his scoring total. He was fouled on both of his three-pointers and converted four-point plays on both of them. Drops 31 points against Detroit
Murray racked up 31 points (10-22 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 35 minutes during Friday's 134-119 victory over the Pistons.
Analysis
Murray had a solid start to Friday's game with 13 points in the first half, but he truly came alive in the third quarter when he dropped 15 points while going 3-for-4 on three-point attempts. He finished as the game's leading scorer and was one of four Nuggets players to score at least 23 points in a much-needed win. Murray has been playing through left knee inflammation since before the All-Star break, but over his last eight outings he has averaged 27.8 points on 53.2 percent shooting (including 58.5 percent from three on 8.1 3PA/G), 5.4 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 36.0 minutes per contest.

Probable for Friday
Murray (knee) has been listed as probable for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis
Murray has been nursing inflammation in his left knee for some time now, but that likely won't keep him off the floor Friday in Detroit. The veteran guard has played well as of late, averaging 27.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting an impressive 54.5 percent from the floor and 58.9 percent from deep for the Nuggets.
