Yastrzemski isn't in the Giants' lineup Saturday versus San Diego, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Analysis
Yastrzemski has gone 3-for-22 with two homers, five RBI and nine strikeouts over his last seven contests, and he'll now take a seat on the bench while Mark Canha fills the opening in right field and bats leadoff.

Homer, four RBI in victory
Yastrzemski went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's win over the Brewers.
Analysis
Yastrzemski lined out to center in his first at-bat before launching a three-run homer in the second inning to extend San Francisco's lead to eight runs. The outfielder would also add an RBI double in the fourth to give him just his second multi-hit performance this month. Yastrzemski has now gone deep in back-to-back games and already has four long balls in September to go along with seven RBI and seven runs scored.

Yastrzemski went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Brewers.
Analysis
Yastrzemski led off the bottom of the sixth with a solo home run off Aaron Civale to bring the Giants within a run of the Brewers. Three of his last five hits have left the yard, though he's struggled with a .208 average and 31 percent strikeout rate in September so far. For the year, he's slashing .237/.311/.434 with 14 homers, 46 RBI, 51 runs, three steals and a 34:108 BB:K in 413 plate appearances.
