Strikes out seven in quality start
Webb didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on seven hits and no walks in seven innings. He struck out seven.
Analysis
It was Webb's fifth straight start of at least six innings, and he's now punched out at least seven in four of his last six outings. The All-Star right-hander has been mostly reliable with a 3.16 ERA on the season, though he's struggled at times while logging a 4.20 ERA and 1.33 WHIP over his last 60 frames (10 starts) since the beginning of a July. Webb generally offers a solid fantasy floor, as he's thrown at least six innings in 21 of his 28 outings in 2025, but he might be more difficult to trust in his next scheduled appearance at hitter-friendly Coors Field against the division-rival Rockies.

Logs another quality start
Webb (12-9) earned the win against the Brewers on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out five across six innings.
Analysis
Webb was able to log five punchouts despite generating just seven whiffs on 94 pitches (58 strikes). He allowed at least one baserunner in five of the six innings he tossed, but he managed to limit the damage to a Caleb Durbin RBI double in the second frame. Webb is now up to 18 quality starts on the season, which is tied with Cristopher Sanchez for second most in the majors behind Bryan Woo (19). Webb also ranks fourth in the majors with 180 strikeouts, and his 3.13 ERA (over 166.2 innings) is 17th among qualified starters. He'll look for his 13th win of the season in his next start, which is tentatively slated for next week at home against the Cubs.
