Getting regular run at third base
Clemens will start at third base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Rays.
Analysis
Clemens will pick up a sixth consecutive start at the hot corner after going 5-for-21 with a home run, two doubles, one walk and five RBI over the previous five contests. While Alec Bohm (hand) and Edmundo Sosa (back) are on the injured list, Clemens looks like he'll have a clear path to a regular role at third base.

Clemens went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Analysis
Clemens put the Phillies ahead for good in the second inning with a two-run blast off Bowden Francis, his fourth long ball of the year. Since he was recalled on Sep. 1, the 28-year-old Clemens has gone 2-for-8 with three runs scored and three RBI. Overall, he's slashing .243/.274/.529 with 13 RBI and 11 runs scored and 13 RBI in 73 plate appearances this season. While Clemens has primarily filled a bench role for the Phillies, he could see more playing time down the stretch with both Alec Bohm (hand) and Bryce Harper (elbow) nursing injuries.
