Simulated game set for Wednesday
Junis (shoulder) will throw a four-inning simulated game Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Analysis
Junis made a 2.1-inning rehab start Saturday with Triple-A Nashville, but his velocity wasn't where he and the Brewers hoped. If the velocity is back during Wednesday's simulated game, it's possible he could be cleared to return next week. Junis has been sidelined since early April, first with a right shoulder impingement and then with a head injury that occurred when he was hit by a ball during batting practice.

Ready for third rehab outing
Junis (shoulder) will continue his rehab assignment Wednesday in Arizona, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis
The right-hander made his second rehab outing with Triple-A Nashville on Saturday and allowed one run on two hits and a walk over 2.1 innings. Depending how Wednesday's outing goes, Junis could then be cleared to rejoin the Brewers.

Covers two innings in rehab start
Junis (shoulder/head) struck out three over two perfect innings in his rehab start Tuesday with Triple-A Nashville.
Analysis
According to MLB.com, Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Junis reported no issues with his shoulder coming out of the rehab appearance, his first at any level since he was placed on the injured list April 6. The Brewers haven't yet decided on a role for Junis once he's ready to come off the 60-day IL, but with injuries beginning to pile up in the rotation, the right-hander could slot into a starting role once he gets fully stretched out in the minors. After throwing 21 pitches Tuesday, Junis is expected to increase his workload when he makes his second appearance for Nashville on Saturday.

Beginning rehab outings
Junis (shoulder/head) is beginning his minor-league rehab assignment Tuesday night in Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Reports.
Analysis
Junis was cleared for his rehab assignment Monday, but it is now clear that the assignment is starting Tuesday. The righty has been out since early April due to a right shoulder impingement as well as a head injury that later occurred in batting practice. He will need several outings to build himself back up.
