Carving out regular role
Amaya will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Wednesday's game versus the Guardians.
Analysis
Amaya has now manned shortstop each of the last four games and 11 of the last 12 contests. He's hitting just .233/.281/.267 so far with the Pale Hose and profiles as more of a utility infielder over the long haul, but Amaya should continue to receive regular reps down the stretch for the rebuilding White Sox.
