How It Works: A Multi-Week Showdown

This year, The Championship Chase is split into two competitions: Champion & Pro. Champion competitions will maintain the same In-Season card requirements we’ve followed all year. Pro, on the other hand, will require zero In-Season cards.

During this period, no other competitions will be active, aside from our Common All Star and Championship Chase competitions. Common All Star will also have a cumulative leaderboard.

Each leaderboard will have individual Game Week competitions where Managers will submit fresh lineups for each round. As always, these weekly battles give you the chance to win rewards based on your performance in each Game Week.

At the same time, every lineup you enter will count toward the cumulative Championship Chase leaderboard. This leaderboard spans the entire Postseason, with your best 5 of 6 Game Week scores added together from the Wild Card round through the World Series. Each week is a new opportunity to adjust your strategy and field the perfect roster to climb the leaderboard.

Champion Rewards

Pro

This year’s Pro competitions are your path to Cards. Every Game Week, you’ll have the chance to earn 2024 Pro Cards, along with Special Edition Cards for Cumulative Leaderboards. These Special Edition Cards will adhere to the following guidelines:

• Exclusivity: These cards are elite; only teams that make it to the Postseason will have these special edition cards minted
• Scarcity: These cards will be available in Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique scarcities
• Availability: These cards can only be won as rewards for The Championship Chase! You won’t find them in auctions.
• Bonuses: No gameplay bonuses are applied to these Special Edition Cards, but they will contribute to your collection score in the Collection Game.
• Mint count: The Special Edition Cards will be part of a player’s existing card population. For example, if Rare Serial 52/1000 is a standard edition, then Rare Serial 53/1000 could be the Postseason edition for the same player.

As the Postseason unfolds, reward distributions will be adjusted in Game Weeks 3 and 5. Only the lower end of the rewards will be modified to reflect entries, ensuring that the top-end rewards remain as exciting as ever!
