We have loved seeing your enthusiasm for our new Sorare Pro 2024 gameplay since launching our transition phase last month.

Please read our blog in case you missed our original announcement on transition gameplay: ‘Sorare Pro 2024 Gameplay Transition is Live’.

We introduced this new gameplay with the ambitious vision to launch a clear path for progression through a division structure that is more rewarding in a big way! To achieve this goal and ensure a successful launch, we are in a gameplay transition phase, allowing us to refine our mechanics and fine-tune the gameplay based on our data and your feedback.

After carefully analyzing the data and listening to your feedback over the past month, we’re ready to implement a first round of adjustments to improve our Manager experience and some of our new gameplay mechanics.

Bigger improvements are still to come in August where we’ll act on key insights and feedback gathered during the transition phase.

As an example, we will make it more evident that climbing divisions leads to better rewards, and that aiming for the top division should be the goal of every Manager. Next season prize pools will make that crystal clear.

In the meantime, this first update will be implemented from Game Week May 3-7 to give you a couple of Game Weeks notice to eventually adapt your strategies. Here is what you can expect:

Prize pools:

We have reviewed and adapted our prize pools to make the higher divisions more attractive. Here is what you can expect: :

  • Classic competitions: Star (T0) rewards will be reallocated from the lower divisions to the higher divisions. As an example, the Star reward offered to the winner of Div 5 Limited will be moved to the prize pools of the top divisions and replaced by a T1 reward.
  • In-Season competitions: We will move some of the cash rewards from the lower divisions to the higher divisions.
  • We will increase the percentage of lineups that is rewarded in the top divisions.
  • We are also making adjustments to the Unique competitions’ prize pools to rebalance the percentage of winning lineups in this scarcity.

IMPORTANT: All the above is a high-level review of the adjustments that will go live starting GW May 3 -7. You will be able to see the updated prize pools when this GW opens for submission on Tuesday, April 30th.

Reward Boxes:

Instead of limiting rewards to just rank positions, Reward boxes will now be rewarded across a percentage of lineups in each competition.

Classic Season Competitions will reward as follows:

  • The first 5% of lineups will win 3 boxes
  • The top 5% to 12% of lineups will win 2 boxes
  • The top 12% to 25% will win one box.

Please remember that the higher the division, the better the box and the chances to win a higher tier card!

This allows us to maintain a more balanced distribution of reward boxes by directly tying it to the competitiveness across each competition and division.

And there is more, our Reward Boxes will soon contain a wider diversity of items to make them more exciting and of course, more rewarding.

Divisions:

The Promotion / Relegation percentages will be divided by 2 for all competitions and divisions. For example:

  • 25% of lineups will be relegated from Div 1 each GW instead of 50%
  • 12% will be promoted from Div 3 to Div 2 instead of 25%

This means that 75% of lineups will remain ‘safe’ in the same divisions every GW, as opposed to the previous 50%, allowing us to introduce more stability to movements across divisions and to make Promotion & Relegation a more meaningful moment.

With this change, promotion in Classic competitions will consistently be celebrated with reward boxes!

Your feedback has been valuable and extremely constructive as we ensure that Sorare Pro 2024 gameplay delivers on its promise. Early signs are extremely positive, thank you!
