We’re testing a brand-new mode that will run exclusively during two weekend Game Weeks:

• Game Week 76 (May 2–6) – Lineup submission opens 16:00 CET Tuesday, April 29 

• Game Week 78 (May 9–13)

⚔️ The concept is simple: 10 Managers. One leaderboard. One epic prize pool.

Available in Limited and Rare, the Arena is a high-intensity competition format designed to reward skill. It’s a level playing field—and a bold new way to prove you’re the best.

We’ll test this format for those 2 Game Weeks before phasing it out and refining it for future iterations.

How It Works

When the Game Week locks, every Arena lineup you have submitted is entered into a random Arena with up to 9 other Managers. There, you’ll battle it out on the leaderboard.

🏆 The top 5 Managers earn rewards in Essence and XP in both Limited and Rare.

And here’s where it gets even more exciting: a few moments after lock, 50 Limited Arenas and 20 Rare Arenas will be revealed as Golden Arenas each Game Week with randomly boosted leaderboards with a major twist:

🥇 If you land in one, 1st place will take home 200 Essence instead of the usual 50.



🔁 All Essence used to unlock teams in the Arena is reinjected into the prize pool—alongside bonus Essence and XP from Sorare.

🧪 The Essence you win in the Arena leaderboards is neutral.

What are the Arena rules?

In the Arena:

• You unlock team slots using 10 Essence per lineup. Once a lineup is submitted, the Essence is used and can’t be recovered—but you can still edit your team until the Game Week locks.
  
• You can enter up to 7 lineups per Game Week
  
• You can use cards from any season
  
• It’s All-Star coverage — use cards from any league covered by Sorare.
  
• Each lineup must fit under a 260 Cap
  
• Only a 20% captain bonuses apply: No XP, no collection bonuses, no scarcity bonuses

This is pure competition. Just you, your picks, and your brain.

We’re giving you notice so that you can save up the Essence you’ll earn from upcoming Game Weeks and Missions to enter the Arena mode.

Important Notes

• ⛔ Not available on iOS for now. To enter Arena lineups, use the Sorare website.
  
• ✅ You can still track your Arena teams live on the app once the Game Week begins.
  
• 🧪 This is a test phase. It will run for two Game Weeks only. After that, we’ll review your feedback to iterate and bring exciting improvements to this mode.
