As previously announced, we have been refining the card eligibility rules for our “League Kickoff” (eg. Bundesliga Kick-Off, formerly known as Bundesliga Semi-Pro) and Amateur competitions.

In response to valuable Community feedback, we've decided to delay the implementation of the rule that prevents Managers from submitting a team in Amateur Competitions if they have more than 10 Pro cards (11 or more). 

We are aware that a number of Managers use the Amateur Competitions to compete in Private Leagues with their friends. We are postponing the update to allow these Managers more time to wrap-up their ongoing League-specific Private Leagues to smooth over the transition. 

The new card requirement for Amateur competitions will take effect during the next international break starting GW 424 on Tuesday, November 14th.  

We remain convinced that these changes will enhance consistency, fairness, and ultimately benefit the Sorare community. Based on our data, we believe this update creates better opportunities for new Managers to progress in the game. It’s also an important change ahead of the launch of Sorare Rivals, as we look to onboard new Managers.

Please note that both the XP formula update and the new “League Kickoff’ Competition Rule will still be implemented as planned starting from Game Week 419, on Friday, October 27th at 4 pm CET / 10 am ET. Managers who own more than 10 Pro Cards – Limited, Rare, Super-Rare, Unique Cards –  in total won’t be able to participate in those competitions. Lineups that were already submitted for the next GW and that don’t meet this requirement will be invalidated.
