Risacher's minutes had been trending down of late, but Wednesday marked the first time that he had failed to receive any playing time all season during a game in which he was active. Hawks head coach Quin Snyder inserted Corey Kispert into the rotation in place of the 2024 No. 1 overall pick, who hasn't displayed the sort of growth that Atlanta had been hoping for in Year 2. Risacher's 55.9 true shooting percentage is right in line with his mark from his rookie campaign (55.8 percent), but his usage rate has fallen from 21.6 percent in 2024-25 to 17.5 percent this season.

Risacher provided three points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal across seven minutes during Monday's 108-105 loss to the Knicks.

Risacher continues to play limited minutes off the bench, with fantasy managers forgiven for thinking he was out of the rotation altogether. In seven games over the past two weeks, he has averaged just 13.0 minutes per contest, putting up 5.6 points and 0.9 three-pointers.

Despite its best efforts, Atlanta has been unable to develop Risacher to the point where he can be a meaningful contributor. While success has been a welcome theme for the Hawks in recent times, it has coincided with the fact that Risacher's role has reduced significantly. In 16 games over the past month, he has barely been a top-200 player, averaging 8.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 three-pointers in 18.1 minutes per game.
