Turner finished just two boards away from recording what would've been his third double-double in his last four appearances. The veteran big man has been tasked with handling a bigger workload on offense due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (groin), but the results had been inconsistent until this outing. This 24-point output was a new season-high mark for Turner, but he's cleared the 20-point mark just three times all season long. Turner can deliver steady numbers, but he's not expected to carry the Bucks' offense any time soon, especially with the emergence of Ryan Rollins as a reliable go-to offensive weapon this season.

Double-doubles but shoots poorly
Turner ended with 14 points (5-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Thursday's 123-114 overtime loss to the 76ers.

Turner didn't have his best shooting performance in this contest, but he ended up with a double-double for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign. The shooting woes aren't much of an issue as long as Turner can be an effective two-way presence in the frontcourt, something that is needed desperately due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (groin). Turner is averaging 14.6 points, 6.7 boards and a combined 3.0 steals-plus-blocks per game over his last 10 outings.
