Will make Milwaukee debut Friday
Kuzma will officially make his Bucks debut Friday against the Hawks, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

The Bucks acquired Kuzma, Patrick Baldwin and a 2025 second-round draft pick from the Wizards on Wednesday in exchange for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson and a 2028 first-round pick swap, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

He had been in the midst of a down season in Washington, shooting just 42 percent from the field and 28.1 percent from beyond the arc while averaging 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 27.7 minutes per contest. In Milwaukee, it's not immediately clear if Kuzma will move into the starting lineup, or if he'll serve as the team's sixth man like Middleton had in recent weeks prior to being traded.

Kuzma racked up 31 points (13-24 FG, 5-10 3Pt), eight rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 victory over the Timberwolves.

Kuzma's five made threes also tied his season best. Kuzma has had a rough campaign overall, but he's showing signs of breaking out with the trade deadline looming -- he's provided 20-plus points in three of the last nine games, averaging 17.1 points, 7.4 boards, 2.7 assists and 2.0 threes during that span.
