Love racked up 10 points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 112-107 loss to the Cavaliers.
Analiz
Love started for a second consecutive game with Kel'el Ware (knee) out, but the veteran big man made the most of his minutes and filled the stat sheet admirably. This was the first time Love scored in double digits since Dec. 7, when he posted 11 points in a win over the Suns, and he should remain in the starting lineup as long as Ware remains out.

Love tallied two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), nine rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes off the bench in Monday's 106-90 win over the Wizards.

After stepping away from the team shortly before the All-Star break, Love returned from personal leave in the middle of last week, but he didn't appear in any of the Heat's ensuing three games leading up to Monday. Even when available this season, Love has typically found himself outside of the rotation, but he moved into the starting five against the Wizards while Kel'el Ware (knee) was sidelined. Ware will remain out again Wednesday in Cleveland, so Love should stick in the rotation for at least one more game, even if he isn't deployed as a starter.

Love has been sidelined for the past 10 games, with part of those absences being due to personal reasons. However, he will enter the starting five for Miami on Monday due to the absences of Kel'el Ware (knee), Jaime Jaquez (ankle), Andrew Wiggins (ankle) and Nikola Jovic (hand). It'll be Love's first start since Dec. 18, 2023, though he shouldn't be expected to play heavy minutes Monday despite the Heat's lack of frontcourt depth.
