This was a season-high in minutes for Embiid, who has looked a little better with each game this season. He did take an elbow to the face from Derrick White, but he was able to play through it, so that shouldn't be something that impacts his status for Sunday's game in Brooklyn.

Embiid logged 23 minutes in the win, an encouraging sign for anyone rostering him. His production also increased, scoring a season-high 25 points. Despite being clearly hampered by his ongoing knee concerns, Embiid once again proved that he can be a valuable contributor. It appears his lack of mobility and elevation could limit what he can do on the defensive end, meaning he is unlikely to push for first-round fantasy value at this point in his career.

After sitting out the front end of the back-to-back set Monday against Orlando, Embiid is no longer showing up on the injury report. He fared well in his last outing against the Hornets with 20 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 20 minutes, so it will be interesting to see if he's given a few more minutes this time around.
