Starting Saturday
Yabusele is part of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Denver.
Analiz
Yabusele will start in his second game with the Bulls, stepping in for the injured Jalen Smith (calf). Yabusele had a stellar Chicago debut, posting 15 points and 11 rebounds across 33 minutes. Even with Nick Richards (recently traded) and Leonard Miller (recently traded) available to make their Bulls debuts, expect Yabusele to see plenty of run Saturday night.

Double-doubles in Chicago debut
Yabusele registered 14 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals over 33 minutes during the Bulls' 123-107 loss to the Raptors on Thursday.
Analiz
Yabusele was dealt by the Knicks to the Bulls on Wednesday, and the veteran from France was given the green light to make his Chicago debut Thursday. He averaged just 8.9 minutes per game off the bench with New York, but he got an expanded opportunity against Toronto, logging his first double-double of the season and first since Jan. 24, 2025 against the Cavaliers, when he was a member of the 76ers. Yabusele's minutes off the bench were a promising sign, though what his role will look like long-term remains to be seen.

Available to play
Yabusele (trade) will be available to play Thursday in Toronto, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analiz
Yabusele will be available to make his Bulls debut Thursday evening, and he could get minutes right away with Jalen Smith and Lachlan Olbrich being the only other available bigs on the roster for Thursday's game. Yabusele could be worth a dart throw in daily fantasy leagues.

Dealt to Chicago
The Bulls acquired Yabusele from the Knicks on Wednesday in exchange for forward Dalen Terry, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Analiz
Yabusele inked a one-year, $5.5 million deal with New York over the offseason, but he'll head to Chicago midway through the contract. According to K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network, Yabusele's deal initially included a $5.78 million player option for 2026-27, but he worked with the Knicks to remove the option from his contract to better facilitate a trade ahead of the deadline. The 30-year-old had been an inconsistent member of the New York rotation, appearing in 41 games while averaging 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds across 8.9 minutes. He'll have a chance to earn a larger role off the bench on a Bulls team that has limited options in the frontcourt, though more trades could be coming ahead of Thursday's deadline that may bring in more competition. For the moment, Yabusele could slot in as the No. 2 center behind Jalen Smith, at least until Zach Collins (toe) returns.
