Making his fifth straight start while Caleb Martin (hip) remains in street clothes, Yasubele produced a career high in points as a secondary scoring option in the Sixers' offense behind Tyrese Maxey. Yasubele has seen his usage increase in the latter half of January, and he's averaged 15.2 points, 6.7 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.8 threes and 1.3 steals over the last six games in 30.0 minutes a contest, but his volume should shrink once Joel Embiid (knee) or Paul George (finger) is able to get back onto the court.

The 29-year-old forward briefly left the game late in the second quarter to get his right knee checked out, but for once the Sixers got some good injury news as Yabusele was back on the court to begin the second half. His four steals tied his career high, a mark he set Dec. 23 against the Spurs, and through 113 appearances in January (11 starts) Yabusele is averaging 11.8 points, 6.2 boards, 2.6 assists and 1.6 threes while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor.

Yabusele left Tuesday's game versus the Lakers with 3:44 remaining in the second quarter after appearing to suffer a right knee injury and headed to the locker room before quickly returning to Philadelphia's bench, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
