Simons racked up 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists across 28 minutes during Friday's 141-99 loss to Utah.

Simons is firmly entrenched as one of the Blazers' top options on offense, but the star guard has been struggling massively from the field. His volume has typically been high enough to keep him around the 15-point or 20-point mark on a regular basis, but that hasn't been the case of late due to his shooting woes. Simons has failed to reach the 15-point mark in four of his last eight contests and is shooting just 30.8 percent from the floor in his last two games, both contests in which the Blazers have lost by at least 20 points.

Simons registered seven points (2-11 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 127-105 loss to the Clippers.

Simons ended his streak of games with at least 20 points in abrupt fashion, but this seven-point outing wasn't his lowest-scoring output of the campaign. Instead, and in a worrying trend, it's becoming an issue fantasy managers are getting used to when dealing with Simons. He's posted single-digit points in five of his last nine appearances, a span in which he's averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting 42.2 percent from the field. Simons should remain rostered across all formats, but the lack of consistency he's experiencing in recent weeks certainly limits his upside, particularly in formats where the lineups need to be established for an entire week.

Simons was extremely efficient in this contest, and he would've been perfect from the field had it not been for two missed three-pointers. Simons came just three points shy of matching his best scoring mark of the campaign, and he's trending in the right direction following his return from a three-game absence due to an illness while also dealing with a right hand sprain of late. Simons has scored at least 25 points in three of his last five appearances.
