Using crutches
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Monday that Urias (ankle) is still using crutches and he's not sure when the infielder might return, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Urias suffered a right ankle sprain Saturday in Colorado and was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday. The Orioles have not provided further details in regard to the severity, but it would appear to be something that could keep Urias shelved beyond 10 days. Coby Mayo and Emmanuel Rivera have each received a start at third base in Urias' stead.

The 30-year-old suffered the injury during Saturday's contest in Colorado and will be sidelined for at least the next 10 days. Coby Mayo, who is one of Baltimore's top prospects, was recalled in a corresponding move Sunday and should see some run at third base while Urias is sidelined.

He sustained the injury in the eighth inning, when Ezequiel Tovar slid into third base and collided with Urias' right foot. It's likely Urias will be held out of Sunday's series finale, and depending on the results of his tests, he could also miss the Orioles' upcoming home series against the White Sox.

Urias went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Dodgers.
