Drives in four in win
Betts went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-2 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Betts had an RBI single in the third inning and then gave the Dodgers plenty of breathing room with a homer in the 10th. He's hit safely in 11 of his last 13 games, going 14-for-51 (.275) with three homers and 18 RBI in that span. Betts singled home Los Angeles' first run with a third-inning single and added a two-run double in the eighth. The star right fielder has been very productive of late, knocking in at least one run in nine of his past 12 contests and tallying 14 total RBI over that span. Betts has added two homers, four doubles, nine runs, three steals and a .261/.321/.478 slash line during the 12-game stretch.

Betts has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, but he has just one multi-hit effort in that span, going 9-for-40 (.225) with two homers, three doubles and 11 RBI. He had the second of three straight long balls to open the game for the Dodgers on Saturday. Betts is slashing .297/.390/.490 with 14 homers, 55 RBI, 61 runs scored and 13 stolen bases over 90 contests this season, and while his power production is slightly down, he's still been one of the most reliable hitters in the game when healthy.

Betts recorded an RBI single in the third before stealing second and eventually coming around to score on a three-run shot from Teoscar Hernandez. It marked the star utility man's second straight game with a steal and he's now hit safely in four straight. Betts has also been a big run producer for the Dodgers as of late, racking up eight RBI over his last seven games while scoring three runs himself over that stretch. He's batting .276 in August with seven extra-base hits, 12 RBI and eight runs scored.
