Amaya went 1-for-4 with a double Wednesday against the Orioles.

Amaya will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Orioles.

Amaya has been the main beneficiary of middle infielder Brooks Baldwin's ongoing absence due to a right hand injury. He'll pick up his fourth consecutive start Monday, but Amaya hasn't done much to justify holding down a regular role once Baldwin is healthy enough to play again. Since getting added to the White Sox's active roster last Tuesday, Amaya has gone 1-for-8 with a walk and three strikeouts.
