Moore went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's win over Oakland.

Moore drove home Luis Urias with a two-out RBI single in the fourth before going on to swipe his 29th bag of the campaign and his sixth over his last 10 games (though he only started in eight of those contests). The utility man would later add a double and a sacrifice fly during a seven-run seventh inning for Seattle, marking his second-straight start in which he logged multiple hits. Moore has also hit safely in four of his last six starts, batting .352 (6-for-17) over those games with three doubles, two RBI and five runs scored.

Returning to bench Sunday
Moore is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Moore had started each of the last four games while going 3-for-11 with two doubles and a stolen base, but he'll retreat to the bench while the Angels send right-hander Caden Dana to the hill. The utility man should continue to pick up regular starts against left-handed pitching, but his playing time versus righties may be more sporadic in September.

The veteran slotted in at the keystone and delivered his second double in the last three games as part of his first multi-hit effort since Aug. 9. Moore also recorded his career-high 28th steal following his fourth-inning single, allowing him to close out August with an impressive eight pilfers in 11 attempts across 23 games. Moore's defensive versatility and above-average pop should continue affording him near everyday playing time during the final month of the regular season.
