Bangs out three XBH on Tuesday
Varsho went 3-for-6 with two doubles, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 9-7 extra-innings loss to the Astros.
Analiz
The center fielder has been dialed in since returning from a wrist injury over the weekend. Over the last three games, Varsho has gone 5-for-14 with four extra-base hits (two doubles and two homers), four runs, five RBI and a steal. His seven home runs and 22 RBI in 67 contests this season are way off his 2025 pace, but Varsho still has time to heat up over the summer and avoid a disappointing campaign.

Goes yard in return to lineup
Varsho went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Cubs.
Analiz
Returning to the lineup after being out since June 9 due to a wrist issue, Varsho made a quick impact when he turned on a seventh-inning fastball from former teammate Trent Thornton and drove it down the right-field line, producing the Blue Jays' first runs of the game and sparking a wild late comeback. The long ball was Varsho's sixth in 65 games this season, to go along with a .256/.329/.419 slash line, five steals, 20 RBI and 28 runs.

Activated from IL
The Blue Jays reinstated Varsho (wrist) from the injured list Saturday.
Analiz
Manager John Schneider said Thursday that Varsho would "have to do a lot" in order to return from the IL by Saturday, but the 29-year-old appears to have passed all of the Jays' tests and will now rejoin the team without heading out on a rehab assignment. He'll reclaim his role as Toronto's primary center fielder, and Charles McAdoo will head back to Triple-A Buffalo to clear space on the 26-man roster.

Return on Saturday not ruled out
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Thursday that Varsho (wrist) could be activated from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Saturday, but he will "have to do a lot today and tomorrow" in order to make that happen, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analiz
Varsho resumed hitting this week as he works his way back from left wrist inflammation. If the outfielder is not quite ready to return to the active roster this weekend, he might need a rehab game or two in order to knock the rust off. Nathan Lukes and Myles Straw have been handling center field for Toronto since Varsho went down.
