The Orioles activated Suarez (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list Monday.
Analiz
Suarez hasn't pitched in the big leagues since suffering a shoulder strain in his first appearance of the season back on March 28. He made five rehab appearances, registering a 3.55 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 5:6 K:BB across 12.2 innings of work. Now healthy again, Suarez is expected to work as a long-relief option for Baltimore.

Suarez has been on the injured list since late March with a subscapularis strain in his right shoulder. The 35-year-old right-hander began a rehab assignment Aug. 12 and has since given up five earned runs over 12.2 innings while striking out five batters and walking six. He had built up to five innings by his third rehab outing but has been limited to less than two frames in each of his last two appearances, further cementing the Orioles' plan to use him out of the bullpen once activated.
