Gonzalez (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the Celtics' 147-129 win over the Heat.

The rookie first-round pick is averaging just 14.8 minutes per game, but he had been a consistent part of head coach Joe Mazzulla's rotation throughout the season until he fell out of the mix Wednesday. Mazzulla ended up going with Baylor Scheierman (18 minutes) and Jordan Walsh (five minutes) as the team's reserve options on the wing and at forward, resulting in Gonzalez being handed his first DNP-CD since Nov. 29. Gonzalez could eventually re-emerge as an option on the second unit, but he's unlikely to be in line for extended playing time if he reclaims a rotation spot.

Gonzalez accumulated three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in seven minutes during Friday's 109-102 victory over the Hawks.

Gonzalez logged no more than 10 minutes for the fifth time in the past seven games, during which time he has been firmly outside the top 300 in nine-category leagues. While he has had pockets of value throughout the season, the return of Jayson Tatum served to cap Gonzalez's fantasy production for this season.
