Sorare 27 is about to kick off. As we shared last week, we’re committed to continuously improving your experience following the launch of the new UI. We’ve also got more to cover this week: when to expect Pre-Set Lineups to go live, how scoring reviews will be displayed, a couple of exceptions on how some Arenas will open, and a reminder on weekend Flash Sales.

Navigation Improvements

Here’s a breakdown of everything we shipped this week, more is coming over the next few weeks. Thanks again for your feedback!

Open vs. closed Arenas: open competitions are now shown clearly up front, separated from the ones with no matches for the Game Week.

Competition overview: a clearer view of which Arenas are open each Game Week on the Game Week selector.

SO7 lineups: SO7 lineups are now fully visible without horizontal scrolling.

Navigation fluidity: smoother switching between Arena and Board, and we now remember the last board you visited.

Desktop experience: a few other improvements were made to better fit the desktop experience.

A batch of fixes and improvements is also ready for iOS, just waiting on app approval to go live, hopefully very soon. Thank you for your patience, Managers.

Reminder on Flash Sales

As previously announced, Anytime Entry brings new dynamics to the gameplay, so we’ve introduced special Instant Buy events for Limited cards: Flash Sales. These events mainly happen on weekends and improve Instant Buy as you know it today.

For the leagues playing this weekend, Scottish Premiership, Austrian Bundesliga, and Croatian HNL, auctions will pause later today. In the Instant Buy tab of the market, you’ll see a fixed price on a set number of cards for a given player, based on the latest sales. Only once that quantity sells out does a new batch become available, at an increased price. This prevents Instant Buy prices from skyrocketing with each purchase, for example, right when lineups are officially announced.

Pre-Set Lineups

Pre-Set Lineups let you pre-register lineups for future steps of your board, so they’re submitted automatically if you succeed the preceding step. As anticipated in the gameplay announcement, this won’t be live for the first weekend of matches. Rest assured, Managers, we’re doing everything we can to get you this feature as soon as possible, hopefully ahead of August 14th’s weekend.

LALIGA and J.League Split First Matchdays

To celebrate the new season launch, we’re making an exception to when we open In-Season Arenas. Even if less than 50% of the league’s teams are playing, we’ll open all Arenas for LALIGA and J.League to cover all matches across their first two matchdays. Prize pools will be adjusted accordingly.

As for the 2x Promo Boost on In-Season Arena rewards, it will only apply during the first two Game Weeks where all teams from those leagues play at the same time, that’s Matchdays 3 and 4 for LALIGA, and Matchdays 4 and 5 for J.League.

Scoring Review Display

As announced, Sorare’s gameplay is lenient with score reviews on Hot Streak Boards. Scores are validated around 5 minutes after the end of a match. But if your lineup’s score is below the target at this time, you can still pass the step if you wait for a scoring review that pushes you above the target before the end of that Game Week.

On display: after the 5 minute lock period, if your players’ scores update because of reviews, you won’t see those changes reflected on the lineup view right away. Rest assured, though, as soon as your lineup’s total score crosses the target at any point due to those reviews, the step is validated, and only then will the lineup’s total score update on screen.
