Carter supplied 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and two steals over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 120-89 loss to the Celtics in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Análise
Although the Magic were bounced out of the playoffs in short order, Carter enjoyed success against a formidable Boston frontcourt, posting some of his best rebound totals of the season. Low shot volume resulted in only two double-doubles during the series, but he averaged 10.8 rebounds over the five-game set. Moritz Wagner's season-ending knee injury opened the door for Carter to emerge as a full-time starter, and he should begin next season with the first unit if he remains with the team.

Grabs team-high 11 boards
Carter ended Sunday's 107-98 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with nine points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block over 36 minutes.
Análise
Carter made his presence felt in Game 4 by crashing the glass, leading his team in that category with 11. The veteran big man has recorded 11 or more rebounds in three of the last four games. The Duke product averaged 7.2 rebounds per game during the regular season, which is one of the lowest totals of his career.

Carter had 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one block across 31 minutes during Friday's 95-93 victory over the Celtics in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Análise
Carter recorded his first double-double of the series, albeit a modest one. Despite having nailed down the starting center position, Carter has been far from dominant. Through the first three games, Carter is averaging 10.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 30.6 minutes per game.

Misses out on double-double
Carter racked up 16 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 109-100 loss to the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Análise
After scoring just four points in Game 1, Carter converted all three of his three-point attempts in Game 2 and was Orlando's third-leading scorer. Carter averaged 7.2 rebounds per game during the regular season but is averaging 10.5 boards per contest so far in the playoffs.
