The 27-year-old saw a bump in minutes with Darius Garland (rest), Isaac Okoro (shoulder), Caris LeVert (wrist) and Sam Merrill (illness) all on the shelf Wednesday. Jerome made the most of his uptick in playing time, leading the team in assists while delivering a 20-point performance off the bench. The sixth-year pro has scored 15-plus points in four of his last five outings. In that five-game span, he has averaged 18.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.8 threes and 1.2 steals while shooting 45.2 percent from downtown in 25.8 minutes per contest.

Provides spark off bench in win
Jerome finished with 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and three assists over 23 minutes during Monday's 110-91 victory over Detroit.

Jerome did a nice job of providing energy over his bench-high-tying minute total Monday, leading all Cavaliers bench players in scoring and assists while finishing as one of four players with 15 or more points. Jerome has recorded 15 or more points in nine outings this season, including in four of his last six appearances.

Jerome closed Friday's 132-129 loss to the 76ers with 33 points (11-14 FG, 8-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 33 minutes.

Jerome went off from Cleveland's second unit Friday, pouring in a career-high 33 points while scorching the nets from deep in the absence of sixth man Caris LeVert (wrist). Jerome continues to emerge as a legitimate weapon in the Cavaliers' second unit this season, averaging 14.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.1 threes while shooting 59.4 percent from downtown over his last nine games. The 27-year-old sharpshooter will likely cool down at some point, but he's worth streaming in fantasy leagues while he's hot and LeVert remains sidelined.
