Castle totaled 24 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Saturday's 130-128 victory over Memphis.
Análise
Castle surpassed the 20-point mark for the second consecutive appearance, and the rookie continues to shine despite not being part of the first unit. He also bounced back from a couple of subpar performances, and he's been a reliable option off the bench for the most part. He's averaging 15.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game across 11 contests since moving to the bench in early February.

Drops team-high 22 off bench
Castle ended with 22 points (9-22 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in 30 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 118-106 loss to Houston.
Análise
The rookie wing tied Keldon Johnson for the team lead in scoring as no Spurs starter managed to score even in double digits. It was Castle's best offensive performance since he poured in 33 points against the Hornets on Feb. 7, and it was an impressive bounce-back effort after the UConn product managed only six points combined in the prior two contests. Over 10 games as part of the second unit, Castle is averaging 14.5 points, 3.8 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.5 steaks and 0.9 threes in 22.7 minutes a game.

Quiet in loss
Castle totaled four points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and four rebounds over 12 minutes during Tuesday's 109-103 loss to New Orleans.
Análise
Castle received fewer than 13 minutes of playing time for the first time since Dec. 29, failing to leave a positive impact off the bench. The rookie first-round pick has put together a fairly successful season thus far. However, he has struggled in his last two outings, during which he has accumulated only six points (2-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 34 total minutes.
