Dieng struggled from three-point range but made the most of his increased opportunities with Milwaukee shorthanded in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The 22-year-old forward returned to the first unit after coming off the bench in Tuesday's win over Dallas, and he dropped a game- and career-high 36 points. The fourth-year pro also dished out a game- and career-best 10 dimes, marking his sixth consecutive contest with at least four assists. Dieng should continue to see significant burn for the Bucks, who have already been eliminated from playoff contention and will likely want an extended look at him before he enters restricted free agency this summer.

With Kuzma officially sidelined again, Dieng is primed for a heavy workload.

Análise
Dieng moved to the bench due to the return of Kyle Kuzma (Achilles), but the former still posted an impressive double-double. Dieng is finally getting consistent minutes at the NBA level, and he's proving he can perform at a decent level. Over his last eight games (six starts), Dieng is averaging 12.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals across 29.4 minutes per game while posting double-digit scoring numbers in six of those outings. Even if he ends the regular season coming off the bench, he's an option worth keeping close tabs on as a potential streamer.

Dieng started Milwaukee's last six games. However, with Kyle Kuzma (Achilles) back in the lineup, the 22-year-old will head back to the bench. With that said, Dieng was still productive in his last appearance as a reserve, finishing with 19 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes in the 123-116 loss to the Cavaliers on March 17.

Análise
Making his fifth straight start, Dieng set a new career high in steals while scoring in double digits for the ninth time in his last 12 contests (11 starts). Over that latter stretch, the fourth-year forward is averaging 10.8 points, 4.2 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.9 threes and 0.8 steals as he takes on a much bigger role in the Bucks' injury-depleted rotation.
