Reid amassed 27 points (10-25 FG, 6-15 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 41 minutes during Friday's 117-116 loss to the Jazz.
Análise
Reid led the Timberwolves in points, rebounds and steals Friday, and he tied a season high with six three-pointers. It was a great bounceback performance for Reid after he went 1-for-10 from the field against the Lakers on Thursday, but his efforts weren't enough to get the Timberwolves back in the win column. He'll look to help Minnesota snap out of its two-game losing streak Sunday against Phoenix.

Lackluster shooting in loss
Reid recorded three points (1-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes during Thursday's 111-102 loss to the Lakers.
Análise
Reid delivered an abysmal performance from the field, recording single-digit points for the 13th matchup this season. The big man also failed to hit a three-pointer for just the eighth time during the 2024-25 campaign. On the bright side, Reid logged at least 10 rebounds for the seventh time across his last 10 outings, and he has reached double-digit rebounds in 10 outings this season.

Stays hot in February
Reid logged 22 points (7-21 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists across 41 minutes during Monday's 131-128 overtime win over the Thunder.
Análise
Rudy Gobert (back) has missed four straight games while Julius Randle (groin) has sat out the entire month of February, leaving Reid to hold down the fort in Minnesota's frontcourt. The 25-year-old has thrived with the added usage, scoring in double digits in 10 straight contests while averaging 21.5 points, 9.7 boards, 3.6 assists, 2.8 threes and 1.7 blocks in 37.1 minutes. Both Randle and Gobert seem close to returning, but until they are actually back on the court, Reid figures to stay productive.

Reid (ankle) returned to Monday's game against the Thunder with 7:11 remaining in the fourth quarter, Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman reports.
Análise
Reid sustained an apparent right ankle injury during the third quarter, though he has since checked back in. The big man should be able to shoulder his normal workload the rest of the way.

Reid exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent right ankle injury in the third quarter of Monday's matchup against the Thunder, Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Análise
Reid tripped and stayed on the floor for an extended period, grabbing at his right ankle before heading off to the locker room. If the big man is unable to return, Luka Garza and Leonard Miller could see a bump in minutes the rest of the way.

With Rudy Gobert missing his third straight game with back spasms, Reid drew another start at center and made the most of it. He's been on an absolute tear over his last three games, averaging 23.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.7 three-pointers and 2.7 blocks on 50.0 percent shooting from the field.

Stays hot in Friday's loss
Reid closed with 22 points (9-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 34 minutes during Friday's 121-115 loss to Houston.
Análise
Making his ninth straight start in the absence of Julius Randle (groin), Reid also benefitted from Rudy Gobert (back) needing a little more rest coming out of the All-Star break. The three blocks tied Reid's season high, and he's scored more than 20 points in six of the last eight games, averaging 21.4 points, 9.4 boards, 3.9 assists, 2.9 threes, 1.6 blocks and 0.8 steals in 36.3 minutes a contest. Once Randle and Gobert are both healthy, Reid's usage and production will see a steep drop, but the 25-year-old big should remain in the starting five if only one of the veterans is cleared to return for Sunday and Monday's home-and-home set against the Thunder.
