Williams finished Wednesday's 119-105 loss to the Pacers with 16 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 12 rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes.
Análise
Williams was efficient as a shooter and crashed the glass efficiently en route to his third straight double-double. The big man has been one of the best players for the Hornets since the All-Star break, racking up 12 double-doubles across 18 starts and averaging a solid line of 15.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 blocks per game in that span. If healthy, Williams should be a franchise cornerstone for the Hornets.

Williams closed Monday's 110-106 victory over the Jazz with 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds and one assist over 34 minutes.
Análise
Williams returned to action after missing the previous game due to rest purposes. He ended the game with his third straight double-double, continuing his strong finish to the season. Although the Hornets' season has been far from positive, the fact Williams has been relatively healthy is a win for the organization. Assuming he remains in Charlotte, he should be locked in as a key piece moving forward.

After resting Sunday against the Pelicans, Williams will likely reprise his usual role against the Jazz. That means Jusuf Nurkic will likely shift back to the bench Monday. Over Williams' last five appearances, he's averaged 12.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 blocks in 27.8 minutes.

As per usual, Williams will be held out of the opening leg of this back-to-back set. For now, the expectation is that Williams will be back in the lineup against the Jazz on Monday. In the meantime, Jusuf Nurkic and Moussa Diabate will likely soak up the bulk of the frontcourt minutes for Charlotte.
