Mitchell chipped in 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Friday's 126-113 loss to the Suns.

Mitchell co-led the Cavaliers in assists with Thomas Bryant and finished second on the team in scoring behind De'Andre Hunter (17 points). However, Mitchell was responsible for eight of the Cavaliers' 22 turnovers during the contest, which tied a season high that he set Jan. 21 against the Hornets. It wasn't a typical night for the All-Star guard, but he still had a productive January and finished the month having averaged 27.7 points, 6.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 3.4 threes and 1.4 steals over 34.1 minutes per game.

Análise
Mitchell didn't deliver his most efficient performance, particularly from three-point range, though he still finished as Cleveland's leading scorer. He has scored 25-plus points in four straight games, shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from beyond the arc during that stretch. The star guard also contributed in other ways, chipping in at least five rebounds and five assists for the seventh time across 13 January appearances.

Scorches Magic for 45 points Monday
Mitchell tallied 45 points (15-25 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 10-12 FT), four assists, four rebounds and one steal over 35 minutes during the Cavaliers' 114-98 win over the Magic on Monday.
Análise
As has been the case for much of the season, Mitchell was the powerhouse of the Cavaliers' offense Monday, with the All-Star guard scoring in double digits in each of the first three quarters before tallying seven points in the fourth to help close things out for Cleveland. It was Mitchell's fifth 40-plus-point performance of the season, and he has scored at least 33 points in three consecutive games. The Cavaliers have won six of their last seven games, and Mitchell has averaged 29.3 points, 7.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 threes and 1.4 steals over 35.9 minutes per game over that span.
